The MSc Developmental Psychology program offers a comprehensive understanding of human development through a blend of theoretical and practical learning. Core modules such as Applied Developmental Psychology, Developmental Cognitive Psychology, and Developmental Psychobiology explore the biological, cognitive, and emotional aspects that shape behavior across the lifespan. Students gain strong analytical and research foundations through modules like Fundamentals in Design and Statistics, Qualitative Research Design and Analysis, and Research Issues in Developmental Psychology, which emphasize scientific methods, data interpretation, and ethical research practices. Lifespan Attachment Theory and the Psychology of Social and Differential Development provide insight into emotional bonds, personality differences, and social interactions that influence developmental outcomes. The Research Project in Developmental Psychology allows students to conduct independent, in-depth investigations into key psychological topics, applying both quantitative and qualitative research approaches. Additionally, Theory and Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy introduces therapeutic principles relevant to developmental and clinical contexts, enhancing students’ understanding of psychological support and intervention.
