COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Honours) Airline and Airport Management program equips students with a comprehensive understanding of the aviation industry, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills to prepare them for a range of professional roles. In the first year, students build a solid foundation through modules covering applied academic skills, finance and data interpretation, an introduction to the aviation industry, and marketing and consumer behaviour tailored to aviation. This year develops essential analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while familiarising students with industry operations. In the second year, the focus shifts to airline operations and pricing management, research skills, and personal and professional development, alongside elective options including airport operations management, foreign languages, and opportunities for study abroad, providing a global perspective and real-world experience. The final year focuses on strategic management for airline and airport development, consultancy and enterprise challenges, and safety and security management, alongside elective modules such as research projects and language development. Graduates leave the program with the knowledge, practical experience, and professional skills required to pursue careers in airline management, airport operations, aviation consultancy, and other dynamic roles within the global aviation sector.
