COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Honours) Business Management program is structured over four years to provide a comprehensive foundation in business theory, practical skills, and professional experience. In the first year, students build core knowledge through modules such as Contemporary Business Management, Foundations of Business, The Business Management Professional, and Understanding People and Cultures, focusing on analytical, communication, and cultural awareness skills. The second year deepens understanding of business practices with compulsory modules including Applied Business Management Practices, Change Management in a Global and Digital World, and Managing Business and Financial Performance. Students can also choose from a variety of electives such as Business in Emerging Markets, Developing Your Business Idea, Experiential Marketing Events, Foreign Languages, Managing and Developing People, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Responsible Human Resource Management, Study Abroad opportunities, and modules on customer experience, allowing them to tailor their learning to personal interests and career goals. The third year focuses on professional development through the Undergraduate Sandwich Placement Applied Professional Diploma, providing practical industry experience. In the final year, students consolidate their learning with core modules such as the Consultancy Project in Business Management, Responsible Global Business Management, and Strategy in the Global and Digital Environment, alongside electives including Consumer Psychology, Contemporary Leadership, International Business, Employment Relations and Law, Global and Ethical Management, and Marketing in a Global Context. This structure equips graduates with the knowledge, practical experience, and strategic insight required for careers in management, consultancy, marketing, and global business leadership.
