COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Honours) Business Management with Law program is structured over four years to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of both business management and legal principles, preparing them for careers in global organisations and regulatory environments. In the first year, students establish a foundation through modules including Contemporary Business Management, Foundations of Business, The Business Management Professional, and Understanding People and Cultures, developing analytical, professional, and cultural awareness skills. The second year builds on this knowledge with core modules such as Applied Business Management Practices, Business Law, and Managing Business and Financial Performance, alongside electives including Business in Emerging Markets, Developing Your Business Idea, Foreign Languages, Responsible Human Resource Management, and Study Abroad opportunities, allowing students to gain international experience and tailor their learning to career aspirations. The third year focuses on professional development through the Undergraduate Sandwich Placement Applied Professional Diploma, providing hands-on industry experience and exposure to real-world business and legal operations. In the final year, students consolidate their learning with core modules including Company and Employment Law, the Consultancy Project in Business Management, and Strategy in the Global and Digital Environment, alongside electives such as Dynamic Issues in International Business, Global, Ethical and Responsible Management Approaches, and Marketing in a Global Context. This program equips graduates with strategic, analytical, and legal skills, preparing them for careers in management, law, consultancy, corporate governance, and international business.
