COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Honours) Marketing with Psychology course combines marketing expertise with psychological insight to prepare students for careers that require understanding consumer behaviour, stakeholder perspectives, and complex decision-making processes. In the first year, students develop foundational skills through modules such as Contemporary Marketing, Foundations of Business, Foundations of Marketing, and Understanding People and Cultures, gaining knowledge of marketing principles, business operations, and human behaviour. The second year builds on this foundation with modules including Managing Business and Financial Performance for Marketers, Professional Development for the Marketer, and Social and Positive Psychology, alongside optional modules such as Experiential Marketing Events, Foreign Languages, Study Abroad – Sheffield Business School, The Corporate Customer, and The Digital Customer Experience, offering opportunities to gain international exposure and specialized skills. In the final year, advanced modules such as Consultancy Project in Marketing, Psychology of Marketing and Management, and Strategy in the Global and Digital Environment, alongside electives like Consumer Psychology, Contemporary Leadership in Context, and Marketing in a Global Context, enable students to consolidate their learning, conduct applied research, and develop strategic and analytical skills. Graduates leave with a strong combination of marketing knowledge, psychological understanding, and professional experience, prepared for careers in marketing, consumer insight, market research, brand management, and related fields, or for further postgraduate study.
