COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Honours) Business Management and Hospitality program is structured over four years to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of business and hospitality, combining academic knowledge, practical skills, and professional experience. In the first year, students build a foundation through modules such as Contemporary Business Management, Foundations of Business, Understanding People and Cultures, and Understanding Tourism and Hospitality Industries, developing analytical, cultural, and industry-specific knowledge. The second year deepens this expertise with core modules including Applied Business Management Practices, International Food and Beverage Management, Managing Business and Financial Performance, and Sustainability Management for Hospitality and Tourism Businesses, which integrate coursework and practical assessments. Students can also choose electives, including Study Abroad opportunities, to gain international exposure and broaden their understanding of the global hospitality sector. In the final year, students consolidate their learning with core modules such as the Consultancy Project in Business Management, Global Hospitality Trends and Innovation, International Hospitality Analytics and Revenue Management, and Strategy in the Global and Digital Environment, preparing them for strategic decision-making roles. This program equips graduates with leadership, analytical, and operational skills, enabling them to pursue careers in hotels, resorts, tourism, event management, and other global hospitality sectors.
