COURSE CURRICULUM

The LLB Law program at Royal Holloway offers a structured and comprehensive curriculum designed to provide students with a thorough grounding in the fundamental areas of law. In the first year, students are introduced to core subjects including public law, which covers constitutional, administrative, and human rights law, the law of contract, criminal law, and the English legal system. This foundational year also includes professional and legal skills development, as well as guidance on academic integrity, equipping students with essential research, writing, and analytical skills required for legal practice. In the second year, the curriculum expands to include land law, the law of tort, and European Union law, allowing students to deepen their understanding of property, civil liability, and the influence of international legal frameworks.
