COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA Luxury Brand Management program is designed to develop the expertise needed to succeed in the highly competitive luxury sector. In the first term, students build a foundation in luxury branding and communication strategies, gaining insight into how brands establish identity, heritage and value in a global marketplace. Alongside this, they explore contextual and conceptual frameworks that shape the luxury industry, allowing them to critically analyse how cultural, social and economic factors influence consumer behaviour and brand positioning. The inclusion of a Masters Perspectives module and the option of a language or special elective enriches learning with interdisciplinary and international viewpoints. In the second term, the focus shifts towards strategy and leadership, with modules on strategic management in the luxury sector and entrepreneurship, luxury brands and creativity. These prepare students to think innovatively, spot opportunities for growth and manage challenges in a fast-evolving industry. Professional Perspectives introduces students to real-world insights and industry practices, enhancing their practical knowledge. The final term culminates in a major project, giving students the opportunity to apply their learning through in-depth research or a consultancy project.
