COURSE CURRICULUM

The Luxury Hospitality Management degree is a three-year program that blends academic knowledge with extensive practical experience, preparing students to thrive as leaders in the luxury service sector. In the first year, students focus on the fundamentals of hospitality through modules such as Food and Beverage Concepts, Rooms Division Management, Applied Food and Beverage Management, and Hospitality Accounting, Cost Control and Inventory Management. These subjects provide a solid grounding in service operations and financial management. Students also select either a Global Perspectives or Language module, with options ranging from Business English and Advanced Language for Professionals to Advanced Spanish through Film, allowing them to broaden communication and cultural skills. The second year builds on this foundation with modules in Marketing, Branding and Guest Experience, Organisational Development, and Facilities Safety and Security Management. A key feature of this year is two industry placements: one focused on operations and the other on management, offering invaluable real-world experience. Students also choose electives or language modules to tailor their learning. In the final year, the focus shifts to leadership and strategic management, with modules in Organisational Change and Project Management and Revenue Management and Pricing Strategy, alongside a two-part Major Project and further electives or language study. Graduates emerge with practical expertise, strategic insight, and industry-ready skills for global careers in luxury hospitality.
