COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Business degree is a three-year program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in global commerce, finance, and strategy while preparing them to navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing economy. In the first year, students study core modules such as International Business, Markets and Legal Frameworks, Money, Finance and Decisions, Organisational Culture and Reputation, and International Business and Geographies, alongside Exploring Industry and Entrepreneurship. These modules introduce the fundamentals of international trade, financial decision-making, and the cultural and legal contexts in which businesses operate. Students also select two additional modules from London Perspectives, Global Perspectives, or language options, including Advanced Language for Professionals, Business English, Advanced Business English, and Advanced Spanish through Film, enhancing their global outlook. In the second year, the program advances to more focused topics such as International Business in Emerging Markets, International Trade and Finance, and Sustainable Operations, while also offering experiential learning through Entrepreneurial Challenge, Placement, or Industry Challenge modules, with the option to study abroad for additional international exposure. The third year emphasizes strategic management and innovation with modules such as Managing International Ventures, Disruptive Strategies and Models, and a two-part Major Project, allowing students to consolidate their knowledge and demonstrate their skills. Special electives and language modules throughout the program provide opportunities for specialization, ensuring graduates are equipped with analytical, strategic, and cross-cultural skills for careers in global business.
