COURSE CURRICULUM

The Fashion Marketing degree program spans three years, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of marketing within the fashion industry, alongside practical experience and creative development. In the first year, students focus on foundational modules such as Fashion Marketing Principles and Practice, Fashion Images, Fashion Society and Culture, The Fashion Consumer and Trends, and Exploring Industry and Entrepreneurship. These subjects introduce students to key marketing concepts, consumer behaviour, and the cultural context of fashion. Students also have the option to select two modules from London Perspectives, Global Perspectives, or a range of language courses, including Advanced Language for Professionals, Business English, Advanced Business English, and Advanced Spanish through Film, enhancing both communication skills and global awareness. In the second year, the curriculum advances to Fashion Marketing Communications, Innovation in the Fashion Environment, and Fashion Branding, providing opportunities for students to develop and implement strategic marketing approaches. They can also engage in experiential learning through Entrepreneurial Challenge, Placement, or Industry Challenge modules, and have the option to study abroad. The third year emphasizes future trends and professional practice, with modules including Fashion Futures, Professional Practice and Portfolio, and a two-part Major Project, allowing students to apply their skills in real-world contexts. Electives and language studies continue throughout, enabling specialization and preparation for a career in fashion marketing.
