COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business and Global Sports Management program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of business principles alongside the commercial, cultural, and social dimensions of sport. In the first year, students build a strong foundation in core business areas such as organizational culture, finance, legal frameworks, and market dynamics while exploring sports-specific subjects like marketing, branding, and sponsorship. The curriculum also encourages broader learning through modules in global and London perspectives, languages, and professional communication. In the second year, students focus on sustainable operations, social change, and performance within the sports industry, with opportunities to undertake experiential learning through entrepreneurial challenges, placements, or industry projects, as well as options to study abroad. The program emphasizes practical application and strategic thinking to prepare students for real-world challenges. In the final year, students engage in advanced modules on disruptive strategies and performance decision-making in sports, culminating in major projects that integrate their learning and demonstrate applied business and management skills.
