COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business and Data Science program provides a comprehensive, three-year curriculum designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to harness data for informed business decision-making. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through core subjects such as Organisational Culture and Reputation, Money, Finance and Decisions, Markets and Legal Frameworks, and Data-Informed Decision Making, alongside Exploring Industry and Entrepreneurship and Learning Perspectives. Additionally, students can choose from London Perspectives, Global Perspectives, and a range of language modules to broaden their academic and cultural understanding. The second year advances students’ technical proficiency with courses in Sustainable Operations, Data Science Tools and Techniques, and Coding, while also offering opportunities for experiential learning through Entrepreneurial Challenge, Placement, or Industry Challenge modules. Study abroad options further enrich the learning experience, and students can select additional special electives or language courses to tailor their education. In the final year, the focus shifts to strategic application and innovation, with core courses covering Disruptive Strategies and Models, Contemporary Approaches to Data Science, and Major Projects I and II, allowing students to integrate their learning in practical, real-world contexts. Throughout the program, the combination of theoretical knowledge, technical skills, and experiential learning prepares graduates to interpret data, develop actionable insights, and implement solutions that enhance business performance, drive innovation, and create value in a rapidly evolving global marketplace.
