COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Social Care, Health and Wellbeing program is structured around a range of core modules that develop advanced knowledge, analytical skills, and practical understanding of the modern health and social care environment. Modules such as Contemporary Issues, Policy, and Practice and Equality and Diversity for Human Services explore current challenges and the importance of inclusive and equitable service delivery. Leadership and Innovation focuses on developing effective leadership skills and encouraging creative approaches to improve practice and service outcomes. The module on Collaborative and Integration in Health and Social Care examines partnership working across sectors to ensure holistic, person-centered care. Similarly, Person-Centered Approaches and Service User Involvement emphasizes the importance of engaging individuals in shaping their own care experiences. Academic development is supported through Critical Reading and Writing Skills and Postgraduate Preparation for Research Design, which strengthen research capability and critical analysis. The Dissertation module provides an opportunity for independent research, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge to a topic of professional relevance.
