COURSE CURRICULUM

Across the three years of the BSc (Hons) Business Management program, students build a strong understanding of core business principles while developing practical and professional skills. In Year 1, learning focuses on establishing a solid foundation in business operations, finance, marketing and project management. Students are introduced to how strategy functions within organisational management and begin developing their professional practice through reflective and skills-based modules. In Year 2, students expand their knowledge to a global scale, critically applying theories of international business and exploring areas such as organisational behaviour, consumer behaviour and entrepreneurship. They also have the opportunity to undertake work-based learning or a professional project to gain real-world experience. In the final year, students apply their accumulated knowledge to address real business challenges, working collaboratively and engaging in consultancy-style learning. They develop advanced research abilities and produce a substantial applied research project. Through collaboration with students from other disciplines and exposure to strategic business thinking, they grow both hard and soft skills essential for future employment. Graduates complete the course with a strong understanding of how businesses operate and evolve, along with practical experience and a professional network to support career progression in a wide range of business roles.
