COURSE CURRICULUM

The UI/UX Design course provides a comprehensive, design-led education that develops both creative and technical expertise in user interface and user experience design. In the first year, students are introduced to core concepts in graphic and information design, as well as fundamental digital skills in coding and web design. They explore user needs, interface structures, and the basics of visual communication, supported by a program of guest speakers and industry practitioners. Modules such as Understanding Users, Creative Coding, and Exploring Experience build the foundation for designing functional and engaging digital products.In the second year, students move into more complex areas of interactivity, using experimentation and coding to explore how users engage with digital environments. The curriculum encourages a personal design approach while applying their learning to both real-world and speculative scenarios. Projects may involve individual or collaborative work, with a focus on expanding interaction design through immersive and responsive experiences. This stage also introduces work-based learning opportunities, providing hands-on industry insight and experience.The final year is centred on professional readiness and self-directed projects. Students consolidate their skills by producing a personal portfolio of work that reflects their creative identity and career ambitions. The Major Project and Creative Impact modules offer opportunities to produce polished, industry-relevant outcomes, while Hello World prepares students for the professional landscape. By the end of the course, graduates are equipped with a strong digital and conceptual skillset, ready to enter the UI/UX industry with confidence and versatility.
