COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc International Management and Leadership with Professional Practice at Queen Margaret University combines advanced business education with practical industry experience to prepare students for leadership roles in the global business environment. A major feature of the programme is the 60-credit Professional Practice Internship, where students gain valuable industry experience in an area related to their career goals. Working with both the university and an internship provider, students develop professional competencies, achieve personalised learning objectives, and reflect on their experiences with support from academic specialists. Following the internship, students complete a 12,000-word Dissertation, undertaking an independent research project on a topic of their choice within international management and leadership. This combination of academic study, research, and professional practice ensures that graduates develop strong analytical, leadership, strategic, and practical skills, making them well prepared for careers in management, consultancy, entrepreneurship, and leadership roles across a wide range of international industries and organisations.
