COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Psychology program at Oxford Brookes University provides a comprehensive understanding of major psychological theories, research methods, and practical applications across a wide range of topics. Students explore cognitive, social, and developmental psychology, including how children develop, how culture influences behaviour, and how people think, learn, and interact. Modules also introduce key conceptual and ethical issues in psychology, alongside important areas such as morality, prejudice, attraction, and behaviour change. The Brain and Cognition module examines brain structure, cognitive neuroscience, perception, attention, language, and decision-making, while Intelligence, Personality and Individual Differences focuses on human abilities, personality theories, and research methods.
