COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc International Business and Supply Chain Management program provides students with advanced knowledge of global business operations, procurement, logistics, leadership, and strategic management. Students learn how procurement and supply chain activities support organisational objectives by managing supplier and customer relationships effectively while controlling costs and delivering value. The course also explores strategic and sustainable logistics, focusing on global distribution systems, customer-focused supply chains, sustainability, and the use of advanced technologies and information systems in logistics management. Alongside technical business knowledge, students develop leadership, employability, and professional communication skills while exploring important themes such as ethics, equality, diversity, sustainability, technology, and organisational change. The program combines theory with practical learning through live business cases, consultancy projects, and industry engagement, helping students connect academic concepts with real-world management challenges. Optional modules allow students to further develop expertise in sustainable project management, consultancy, and data-driven decision-making under uncertain business conditions. Academic English support is also available for postgraduate students who require additional preparation for UK higher education study. The course concludes with an Applied Business Project where students conduct substantial practice-based research, demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills while addressing real business and management issues in professional contexts.
