COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Business and Finance program combines practical business knowledge with advanced financial understanding, preparing students for careers in management, banking, entrepreneurship, consultancy, and global business. In the first year, students develop core skills in international business, economics, entrepreneurship, financial accounting, data literacy, and global labour markets while building critical thinking, collaboration, and employability skills. The second year deepens knowledge of international business strategy, corporate finance, financial markets, sustainability, information management, and professional development. Students also explore topics such as digital business, international finance, and family businesses, gaining insight into how organisations operate in changing global environments. The course strongly focuses on sustainability, innovation, and the impact of technology on business and finance. In the final year, students critically analyse contemporary financial systems, advanced financial management, entrepreneurship, and modern business challenges. Optional modules allow further specialisation in areas such as business ethics, sustainable investing, advanced business analytics, social enterprise, and finance for development. Throughout the program, students gain practical experience through case studies, research projects, presentations, teamwork, and entrepreneurial planning.
