The MSc Management (Sustainable Leadership) curriculum combines comprehensive management education with specialist knowledge in sustainability, responsible leadership, environmental governance, and social impact, preparing students to lead organizations through the challenges of sustainable development. The program begins with core business and management modules that establish a strong foundation in leadership, strategy, and organizational performance. Managing Organisations and Organisational Behaviour explores management theories, leadership approaches, teamwork, employee motivation, equality, diversity, inclusion, and workplace dynamics. Strategic Management develops the ability to analyze complex business environments and formulate strategies that support long-term organizational success. Operations Management Fundamentals introduces the principles of managing processes, resources, quality, and operational efficiency across different industries. Data and Decision Making for Managers examines how digital technologies and data-driven insights support managerial decision-making and organizational effectiveness. Marketing Fundamentals develops an understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and strategic marketing practices, while Finance for Managers provides the skills necessary to interpret financial information, assess organizational performance, and support strategic financial decisions. Professional Practice enhances employability through mentoring, self-assessment, career development planning, and experiential learning opportunities. The specialist sustainability-focused modules provide advanced knowledge of responsible business leadership and sustainable transformation. Global Leadership, People and Artificial Intelligence explores how globalization, artificial intelligence, cultural diversity, and technological change are reshaping leadership and organizational practices while emphasizing ethical and sustainable approaches to management. Sustainability Transitions examines how businesses, governments, and other stakeholders collaborate to drive sustainable change through ecosystems, networks, and organizational transformation aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Climate Solutions for a Net Zero Future develops climate literacy and leadership capabilities by exploring strategies for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, addressing climate change, and implementing low-carbon solutions within organizations. Social Value and Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) focuses on measuring, evaluating, and reporting social value and ESG performance while applying practical frameworks that support responsible decision-making. Contemporary Management Studies encourages critical reflection on modern management issues through systems thinking and multiple academic perspectives. Responsible and Sustainable Management develops expertise in ethics, corporate social responsibility, sustainability governance, stakeholder management, and responsible business operations. In the final semester, students choose either a Consultancy Experience Project, working directly with organizations on real-world challenges, or a Business Research Project involving independent academic research. Overall, the program develops a unique combination of management expertise, sustainability knowledge, ethical leadership capabilities, and strategic decision-making skills, preparing graduates for careers in sustainability management, ESG consulting, corporate responsibility, environmental strategy, policy development, social impact leadership, and senior management roles across public, private, and non-profit sectors.
