Construction Business and Enterprise focuses on the commercial and entrepreneurial aspects of the industry, helping students understand business operations, financial management, and strategic decision-making. Collaborative Working explores effective teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and communication practices that are essential for successful project delivery. Advanced Construction Technology introduces modern construction methods, innovative technologies, and emerging industry practices that improve efficiency and project outcomes. Planning and Managing Construction Work develops skills in project planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and the coordination of construction activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Professional Practice and Procedure for Construction and Engineering Management examines professional standards, ethical responsibilities, and management procedures relevant to leadership roles in construction and engineering environments. Students can further tailor their studies by choosing either a Postgraduate Research Project or a Professional or Work-based Project. The research project allows for in-depth academic investigation of a specialised topic, while the work-based project provides practical industry experience and the opportunity to address real-world challenges.
