COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence is structured across three semesters and provides a balanced combination of technical expertise, strategic understanding, and practical application. In Semester 1, students build a strong foundation through modules such as Analytics and AI: Principles for Businesses, which explores how analytics and artificial intelligence create value in organisational settings. Predictive Analytics and AI develops skills in analysing data to forecast trends and support decision-making, while Data Management and Database Design focuses on organising, storing, and managing data effectively. Professional Practice enhances workplace skills, including communication, collaboration, and professional development. In Semester 2, students advance their knowledge through Prescriptive Analytics and AI, which examines techniques for recommending optimal business actions based on data insights. Ethics and Governance of AI Systems explores responsible AI use, regulatory considerations, and ethical decision-making. AI Management and Leadership focuses on leading AI-driven initiatives and managing organisational change, while Applied Research Methods for Decision Making develops analytical and research skills to support evidence-based business strategies. During Semester 3, students apply their learning through a substantial experiential project. They can choose either a Consultancy Experience Project, which involves solving real-world business challenges, or a Business Research Project, which allows for in-depth investigation of a specific topic. Together, these modules prepare graduates to lead data-driven innovation and strategic decision-making in modern organisations.
