COURSE CURRICULUM

The Building Surveying BSc (Hons) programme provides students with the technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional understanding needed for careers in the property and construction industries. In the first year, students build a foundation in surveying skills, construction methods, planning and land use, economics, valuation, and legal principles related to the built environment. These modules help students understand how buildings are designed, managed, and assessed within professional practice. During the second year, students develop more advanced expertise in structural appraisal, construction technology, development and planning, contract administration, and procurement.
