COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Branding programme focuses on developing creative, strategic, and analytical skills needed to build and manage fashion brands in a fast-changing global industry. In the first year, students explore foundational concepts through modules such as Visual and Self Identity, Principles of Fashion Marketing and Branding, and Visual and Cultural Influences. These introduce key ideas about branding, consumer perception, identity, and the cultural forces that shape fashion marketing. In the second year, students build on this knowledge through Marketing Strategy and Insight and a Co Lab module focused on research, experimentation, and creative risk-taking. They can also choose between pathways in Brand Environments, either focusing on Brand Development and Promotion or Placement in Professional Practice. Additional optional modules such as Buying, Merchandising and Product Fundamentals, Digital Marketing and Communication, Creative Live Event Production, Trend Forecasting, Fashion Styling, Fashion Photography, and Beauty Industry: Innovation to Impact allow students to tailor their learning to specific career interests. In the final year, students complete Project Me and develop Strategic and Creative Solutions, focusing on personal brand identity and advanced marketing strategies. Throughout the course, students gain practical experience in branding, marketing, consumer behaviour, and creative communication. The programme prepares graduates for careers in fashion marketing, brand management, digital marketing, advertising, public relations, trend analysis, and other creative business roles within the global fashion and lifestyle industries.
