COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Fashion Management programme focuses on understanding how fashion products are developed, marketed, and sold within a global industry, combining creativity with business strategy and commercial awareness. In the first year, students build a foundation through modules such as Product and Textile Innovation, Creative Entrepreneurship and Professional Practice, and Global Fashion Business and Marketing, which introduce key concepts in product development, business operations, and marketing within the fashion sector. In the second year, students develop more specialised knowledge through Fashion Buying, Merchandising & Global Sourcing and a Co Lab module focused on research, exploration, and creative risk-taking. They also choose between live project-based or work experience pathways in Fashion Sustainability & Community, alongside optional modules such as Responding to the Visual World, Digital Marketing and Communication, Creative Live Event Production, Creative Entrepreneurship, Beauty Industry: Innovation to Impact, Web3 & Creative Autonomy, Fashion Styling, and Fashion Photography: Cover Shoot, allowing them to tailor their studies to specific interests. In the final year, students complete a Final Major Project alongside Professional Practice and study Strategic Fashion Business & Retail Leadership, focusing on high-level decision-making and industry strategy. Throughout the course, students develop skills in analysis, marketing, trend awareness, sustainability, and leadership. The programme prepares graduates for careers in fashion buying, merchandising, retail management, brand management, marketing, sourcing, and other business-focused roles within the global fashion industry.
