COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Content Creation programme is structured to help students develop creative, technical, and professional skills required for careers in digital content and media industries. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through modules such as Short-Form Content Creation, Branding and Strategy, Social Media Campaigns and Analytics, and Digital Media Ethics. These modules introduce key concepts in content production, audience engagement, brand development, campaign planning, performance analysis, and responsible digital communication. During the second year, students expand their practical and creative abilities through Studio-Based Production Skills, Digital Storytelling, and Co Lab: Research, Exploration and Risk-taking. They also have the opportunity to personalise their learning by choosing from a range of optional modules, including Digital Marketing and Communication, Motion Graphics, Creative Entrepreneurship, Virtual Production, Music Video, Responding to the Visual World, Live Art/Collisions, and Sound Art and Design. These options allow students to explore specialist areas and develop expertise aligned with their career interests. In the final year, the focus shifts towards professional practice and independent project work through modules such as Planning for your Content Project, Client Portfolios, Content Project, and Professional Portfolio. Students create industry-relevant content, work with clients, and develop a portfolio that showcases their skills and achievements. This combination of creative practice, strategic thinking, and professional development prepares graduates for successful careers in content creation, digital media, marketing, and related industries.
