COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management and Human Resources BA (Hons) programme provides students with a strong understanding of business operations alongside specialist knowledge in human resource management and leadership. In the first year, students develop a foundation in key business areas through modules covering organisational management, marketing, accounting and finance, business development, economics, data analysis, and personal development. These subjects introduce the core principles needed to understand how businesses operate effectively and manage people successfully. During the second year, students focus on specialised human resource topics including human resource management, employee development, and evidence-based HR data and analytics. The course also offers opportunities for study abroad experiences, internships, and enterprise projects, helping students gain practical industry knowledge and international perspectives. Additional modules in professional development, marketing management, digital entrepreneurship, international business, and management accounting allow students to broaden their understanding of modern business environments. In the final year, students study advanced subjects such as strategic human resource management, global workforce management, and contemporary issues in people management and work. Optional modules provide opportunities to explore areas including sustainability, corporate governance, digital transformation, and international economics. Throughout the programme, students strengthen their leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
