ABOUT UNIVERSITY

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a public research university located in Nottingham, England, with origins dating back to the Nottingham Government School of Design, founded in 1843. It gained university status in 1992, evolving from Nottingham Polytechnic, which itself was formed through the merger of several local higher education institutions. NTU operates across multiple campuses, including the City Centre, Clifton, Brackenhurst, and London, and offers a wide range of academic programmes through seven schools spanning creative, professional, scientific, and environmental disciplines. With a student population exceeding 41,000, it is the sixth-largest university in the UK.
