COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc International Project Management with Advanced Practice is structured over two years to provide a strong combination of academic knowledge and practical experience. In Year 1, all modules are core and focus on building essential project management skills in a global context. These include Strategic Management, which develops high-level planning and decision-making abilities, and Project Implementation in a Multinational Context, which explores managing projects across different countries and cultures. International Financial and Contractual Management focuses on financial planning and legal aspects, while Managing programs and Projects covers the coordination of complex project portfolios. Applied Technologies for Project Management introduces tools and systems used in modern project environments, and People Management in Global Organisations enhances leadership and teamwork skills. The year concludes with a 60-credit Professional Practice Project, which integrates academic learning with employability and research development. In Year 2, the Advanced Practice stage allows students to specialise through a range of options, including consultancy projects, research projects, internships, professional skills practice, business start-up, or design innovation, each worth 60 credits. This flexible structure enables students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings, preparing them for successful careers in international project management across diverse industries.
