COURSE CURRICULUM

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management MSc with Advanced Practice is structured over two years to provide a strong blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. In the first year, students study core modules that build a solid foundation in entrepreneurship and innovation, including Entrepreneurship: Context, Process and Practice, Contemporary Issues in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Creativity, and Digital Innovation and Enterprise. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Challenge allows students to apply their knowledge to real-world problems, enhancing teamwork and problem-solving skills. Research Methods and Analytics for Business Practice develops analytical and decision-making abilities, while international and EU students benefit from the Academic Language Skills module to strengthen communication. In the second year, the focus shifts to advanced practical application through the Business Clinic PG Group Consultancy Project, where students work on real industry challenges. Additional options such as Applied Management Work Investigation, the Newcastle Business School Masters Dissertation, or a Masters’ Management Enquiry allow students to tailor their studies based on career goals. Overall, the program combines academic learning with hands-on experience, preparing graduates for entrepreneurial careers, leadership roles, or further research in dynamic business environments.
