COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Cyber Security Technology with Advanced Practice at Northumbria University offers a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed for a career in cyber security and digital technologies. In the first year, students complete a series of core modules, including Information Governance and Cyber Security, Leadership in a Digital Age, Big Data and Cloud Security, Computer Networks and Security, Computer Security, and Contemporary Computing and Digital Technologies. In the second year, students undertake the Advanced Practice stage, which offers opportunities to gain hands-on experience through a Consultancy Project, Research Project, Internship, Professional Skills Practice, Business Start-up, or Design Innovation project.
