COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Business with Human Resource Management with Advanced Practice is a two-year program designed to develop strong business and HR capabilities through a structured set of core modules. In Year 1, students study Leadership and Management in Professional Practice to build essential leadership and team management skills, alongside Strategy, Innovation and Change, which focuses on organisational development and competitiveness. Data Analytics and Project Management for Business Intelligence equips students with analytical and decision-making skills, while International Business Simulation provides practical experience in managing global business scenarios. The specialist modules HRM and People Analytics and Analysing Organisational Dynamics enable students to understand workforce management, employee behaviour, and data-driven HR practices. Additionally, Academic and Employability Skills and Research Methods prepares students for postgraduate-level study and leads to a 60-credit Masters Dissertation involving independent research. In Year 2, students continue with the same modules to deepen their knowledge and practical expertise. They then choose one of four 60-credit options: a Masters Internship, Consultancy Study, Enterprise Business Start-up, or Professional Skills Practice. These options provide valuable real-world experience, allowing students to apply their learning in professional environments and significantly enhance their employability in business and human resource management careers.
