COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Business with Hospitality and Tourism Management with Advanced Practice is a two-year program structured to provide both strong business foundations and specialised industry knowledge. In Year 1, students study core modules such as Leadership and Management in Professional Practice, which develops essential leadership and organisational skills, and Strategy, Innovation and Change, which focuses on adapting to dynamic business environments. Data Analytics and Project Management for Business Intelligence equips students with analytical and decision-making abilities, while International Business Simulation offers practical experience in global business operations. Students also explore industry-specific subjects including Hospitality Management with Digital Innovation and International Tourism Management and Development, gaining insight into modern trends and challenges in the sector. In addition, Academic and Employability Skills and Research Methods prepares students for postgraduate study and leads to a 60-credit Masters Dissertation involving independent research. In Year 2, students continue with the same modules to deepen their knowledge and practical understanding. They then choose one of four 60-credit options: a Masters Internship, Consultancy Study, Enterprise Business Start-up, or Professional Skills Practice. These options provide valuable real-world experience, allowing students to apply their learning in professional contexts and significantly enhance their employability in the hospitality and tourism industry.
