COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc with Advanced Practice in Business with Financial Management is a two-year program designed to develop both core business knowledge and specialised financial expertise. In Year 1, students study a range of core modules including Leadership and Management in Professional Practice, which builds essential leadership and organisational skills, and Strategy, Innovation and Change, which focuses on business growth and adaptability in dynamic environments. Data Analytics and Project Management for Business Intelligence develops analytical and decision-making abilities, while International Business Simulation offers practical experience in managing global business scenarios. Financial Technologies for Market Modelling and Analysis introduces modern financial tools and digital innovations, and Corporate Finance focuses on financial decision-making, investment, and risk management. Students also complete Academic and Employability Skills and Research Methods, leading to a 60-credit Masters Dissertation involving independent research. In Year 2, students continue with the same core modules to deepen their knowledge and practical understanding. Additionally, they choose one of four 60-credit options: a Masters Internship, Consultancy Study, Enterprise Business Start-up, or Professional Skills Practice. These options provide valuable real-world experience and allow students to apply their learning in professional contexts, enhancing employability and preparing them for careers in business and financial management.
