COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Business with Business Analytics (with Advanced Practice) is structured over two years, combining core business and analytics modules with extended professional experience. In the first year, students complete core modules, each typically worth 20 credits, including Leadership and Management in Professional Practice, which develops leadership and decision-making skills, and Strategy, Innovation and Change, focusing on how organisations adapt and remain competitive. Data Analytics and Project Management for Business Intelligence builds technical and project management capabilities, while International Business Simulation provides practical experience in managing global business scenarios. Business Intelligence in Practice and Strategic Marketing and Analytics develop the ability to use data for strategic decision-making. The Academic and Employability Skills and Research Methods and Masters Dissertation module, worth 60 credits, enables students to conduct independent research and apply their learning to real-world problems. In the second year, students continue to build on these core areas while undertaking an advanced practice component. They choose one 60-credit option, such as a Masters Internship, Consultancy Study, Enterprise Business Start-up, or Professional Skills Practice, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
