COURSE CURRICULUM

The Finance MSc curriculum provides a comprehensive and industry-relevant foundation in financial analysis, decision-making, and management. Core modules such as Financial Econometrics and Forecasting I and Research Methods and Analytics for Business Practice develop strong quantitative and analytical skills, enabling students to interpret financial data and make informed predictions. The inclusion of Contemporary Issues in Sustainability and Sustainable Strategic Decisions ensures that students understand the growing importance of sustainability in financial planning and corporate strategy. For international and EU students, the Academic Language Skills module supports effective academic and professional communication. In the final stage of the program, students can choose from a range of major projects, including the NBS Masters Consultancy Project, the Newcastle Business School Masters Dissertation, or a Masters’ Management Enquiry, allowing them to apply their knowledge to real-world financial challenges or conduct independent research.
