COURSE CURRICULUM

This program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in core business disciplines while developing specialist expertise in human resource management, with most modules carrying 20 credits and the masters dissertation worth 60 credits. Students begin with leadership and management in professional practice, focusing on effective leadership, team management and professional decision-making within organisational contexts. Strategy, innovation and change explores how organisations achieve and sustain competitive advantage, manage change and respond to dynamic market conditions. Data analytics and project management for business intelligence equips students with the skills to analyse complex business data, manage projects effectively and support evidence-based decision-making. The international business simulation module provides practical, experiential learning, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge to realistic global business scenarios. Specialist HR modules include HRM and people analytics, which teaches students how to use data to assess workforce performance, inform HR strategies and support organisational decision-making. Analysing organisational dynamics develops understanding of organisational behaviour, culture and processes, enabling students to identify and implement strategies that enhance performance and employee engagement. The program is supported by academic and employability skills and research methods, preparing students for professional practice. The masters dissertation allows students to undertake an in-depth research project, demonstrating advanced analytical, critical thinking and research skills in a business or HR context.
