COURSE CURRICULUM

This program is structured around a set of core modules designed to develop strong business, leadership and financial management capabilities, with most modules carrying 20 credits and the masters dissertation worth 60 credits. Students begin with leadership and management in professional practice, which focuses on effective leadership, managing people and developing professional competence within organisational settings. Strategy, innovation and change explores how organisations achieve competitive advantage, respond to market developments and manage change in complex business environments. Data analytics and project management for business intelligence equips students with the skills to analyse data, manage projects and support informed, evidence-based decision-making. The international business simulation module provides an applied learning experience, allowing students to engage with real-world global business challenges in a competitive environment. Financial technologies for market modelling and analysis introduces students to modern financial tools, digital technologies and analytical techniques used to model markets and assess financial performance. Corporate finance develops a deep understanding of financial decision-making, investment appraisal, capital structure and value creation within organisations. The program is underpinned by academic and employability skills and research methods, which prepare students for independent study and professional practice. The masters dissertation enables students to undertake an in-depth research project in a finance or business-related area, demonstrating advanced analytical, research and critical evaluation skills.
