COURSE CURRICULUM

This program consists of a set of core modules designed to develop strong business, leadership and entrepreneurial capabilities, with most modules carrying 20 credits and the masters dissertation worth 60 credits. Students begin by studying leadership and management in professional practice, focusing on managing people, developing professional identity and leading effectively within organisations. Strategy, innovation and change builds understanding of how businesses create value, respond to market disruption and manage organisational change. Data analytics and project management for business intelligence equips students with essential skills to plan, manage and deliver data-informed projects that support strategic decision-making. The international business simulation module provides a practical, experiential learning environment where students apply theory to real-world global business scenarios. New venture development focuses on the process of creating and growing new businesses, from opportunity identification and business planning to funding and market entry. Design for digital enterprise explores how digital technologies, platforms and user-centred design can support innovation and entrepreneurial activity. The program is underpinned by academic and employability skills and research methods, which prepare students for independent study and professional practice. The masters dissertation enables students to conduct an in-depth research project in a business or entrepreneurship-related area, demonstrating advanced critical thinking, research and analytical skills.
