COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA Education (Leadership and Management) offers a wide range of modules designed to support the development of professional practice, leadership, and management skills in educational settings. Core and optional modules allow students to tailor their studies to their interests and career goals, covering areas such as educational research and methods, systematic appraisal in education and training, and understanding the education system in England. The program also provides practical leadership-focused modules, including educational leadership and management models, leading learning and managing change, managing inclusive learning environments, and project management and change leadership. Students can undertake substantial independent work through options such as the empirical project, work-based dissertation, or negotiated study, allowing them to apply theory to practice and explore specific areas of interest. The Academic Language Skills module supports international and EU students in developing academic writing and communication proficiency. This flexible structure enables learners to balance academic study with professional responsibilities while building critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.
