COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Business and Analytics program provides a structured four-year pathway that combines technical analytics skills with business knowledge and practical experience. In Year 1, students build a foundation in financial decision making, business analysis, analytics study and consultancy skills, preparing for professional practice, business, economy and society, and introduction to marketing, with academic language support for international and EU students. Year 2 develops advanced analytical and business capabilities through modules in business research and analysis, tools and techniques for data analytics, business intelligence and information systems, human resource management essentials, digital business models, marketing and operations, and applied logistics and supply chain management, with an optional study abroad semester for international experience. Year 3 offers practical exposure through optional full-year work placements, study abroad opportunities, or blended placements combining work and international experience, allowing students to apply skills in real-world contexts. In Year 4, students focus on advanced topics including project management, predictive analytics, and analytics and visualization for management, with optional modules in marketing metrics, digital and data-driven marketing, global supply network management, management enquiry, dissertation, and undergraduate consultancy projects. Across all years, the program integrates theoretical knowledge, technical analytics, business understanding, and professional development, preparing graduates to interpret data effectively, provide actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and pursue careers in business analytics, management, and consultancy roles.
