COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business and Analytics (Extended Degree) BSc (Hons) program is designed to develop students’ analytical, technical, and business skills through a structured four-year progression. The foundation year provides a strong grounding in professional development, business environment and functions, business information management, entrepreneurship and innovation, responsible business, and leadership and management projects, preparing students for further study. Year 1 expands this knowledge with modules in financial decision making, business analysis for decision making, analytics study and consultancy skills, preparing for professional practice, business, economy and society, and introduction to marketing, with academic language support available for international and EU students. Year 2 advances analytical and business expertise through business research and analysis, tools and techniques for data analytics, business intelligence and information systems, human resource management, digital business models and operations, and applied logistics and supply chain management, alongside an optional study abroad semester for international experience. Year 3 offers optional work placement or study abroad opportunities, including blended placements, to gain practical industry experience. In Year 4, students focus on advanced topics such as project management, predictive analytics, analytics and visualization for management, with optional modules in marketing metrics, digital and data-driven marketing, global supply network management, and applied projects including management enquiry, dissertation, and consultancy projects. The program integrates analytical, technical, and business skills, preparing graduates for data-driven decision-making and successful careers across business and analytics sectors.
