COURSE CURRICULUM

The Sociology BSc (Hons) program at Northumbria University offers a comprehensive exploration of contemporary society, social dynamics, and research methods, equipping students with the skills to critically examine social issues. In the first year, students focus on foundational modules such as Real World Research 1, Global Transformations, Thinking Sociologically 1 and 2, Social Problems: Myths and Realities, and Biography, Sociology and Everyday Life, alongside academic language support for international students.
