COURSE CURRICULUM

The Fashion BA (Hons) program is structured over four years to provide students with a comprehensive blend of creative, technical, and professional skills. In Year 1, students explore experimental processes, fashion practice, fashion culture, fashion image, and foundational design skills, with optional language support for international and EU students, building a strong base for creative development. Year 2 focuses on deepening understanding of fashion theory, identity, concept, craftsmanship, collaborative design projects, and professional practice, encouraging students to integrate conceptual knowledge with practical application. In Year 3, students can choose from optional creative studios, design placements, or study abroad opportunities, allowing them to gain real-world industry experience, refine their skills, and expand their professional networks. Year 4 emphasizes advanced design practice and research, including contemporary challenges in fashion, fashion concept research and development, collection realization, and the creation of a professional portfolio, alongside ongoing language support for international students. The curriculum balances practical workshops, project-based assessments, and theoretical study to ensure students develop technical mastery, creative vision, and critical thinking. By the end of the program, graduates are equipped to enter competitive fashion careers, with the expertise to design, communicate, and execute innovative fashion concepts, while possessing professional experience and a strong portfolio to support their creative ambitions.
