COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business and Supply Chain Management program offers a comprehensive pathway for students to develop both broad business knowledge and specialised expertise in supply chain and operations management. In Year 1, students establish a foundation in core business concepts, covering financial decision making, business analysis for decision making, preparing for professional practice, business, economy and society, supply chain and operations study and consultancy skills, and the marketing and supply chain management interface, with academic language support available for international and EU students. Year 2 builds on this foundation with modules in business research and analysis, human resource management essentials, digital business models, applied logistics and supply chain management, international operations management, and global logistics and inventory management, along with an optional study abroad semester to gain international exposure and practical experience. In Year 3, students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts through work placements, study abroad programs, or blended placements combining work and international experience, enabling professional growth and hands-on learning. Year 4 focuses on advanced supply chain and management topics, including project management, supply chain innovation, global supply network management, and strategic and sustainable supply chain management. Optional modules such as management enquiry, dissertation, and undergraduate consultancy projects allow students to develop research and analytical skills. The program integrates theory, practical skills, and professional experience, equipping graduates for careers in operations, logistics, supply chain management, and broader business leadership roles.
