COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business and Supply Chain Management program provides a structured and comprehensive pathway for students to gain both broad business knowledge and specialised expertise in supply chain and operations management. In the foundation year, students develop essential skills in professional development, business environment and functions, business information management, entrepreneurship and innovation, responsible business, and leadership and management projects, creating a solid base for higher-level study. Year 1 introduces core business and supply chain concepts through modules in financial decision making, business analysis, preparing for professional practice, business, economy and society, supply chain and operations study and consultancy skills, and the marketing and supply chain management interface, with academic language support offered for international and EU students. Year 2 focuses on operational and supply chain management, covering business research and analysis, human resource management essentials, digital business models, applied logistics and supply chain management, international operations management, and global logistics and inventory management, with the option of a study abroad semester for international exposure and practical experience. Year 3 provides opportunities for real-world application through work placements, study abroad programs, or blended placements combining work and international experience. Year 4 advances students’ skills in project management, supply chain innovation, global supply network management, and strategic and sustainable supply chain management, with optional research, dissertation, or consultancy projects. The program integrates theoretical understanding, practical skills, and professional experience, preparing graduates for careers in operations, logistics, supply chain management, and broader business leadership roles.
