COURSE CURRICULUM

The Fashion Communication BA (Hons) program offers a structured three-year curriculum that combines creative development, technical skills, and professional preparation for careers in the fashion and creative industries. In Year 1, students build a foundation through modules exploring experimental processes, fashion communication, open brief projects, styling and curation, brand promotion, and content creation, with optional language support for international and EU students. These modules introduce students to essential skills in multimedia production, editorial work, and visual storytelling, enabling them to communicate fashion concepts effectively. Year 2 expands on this foundation by addressing emerging issues in fashion, identity, and trends, while developing advanced skills in content creation, brand promotion, styling, and curation. Students learn to integrate conceptual understanding with practical application, producing work that reflects contemporary fashion practices. Year 3 emphasizes independent research, problem-solving, and project development, including modules on contemporary design challenges, a critical research project, live or competition briefs, and final major projects, culminating in a professional portfolio. The program encourages creative experimentation, critical thinking, and professional engagement, preparing students to navigate the fashion industry with confidence. Graduates gain the expertise to work as innovative communicators, collaborators, and leaders, equipped to produce compelling visual and written outputs and respond effectively to the evolving demands of global fashion communication.
