COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) Business and Entrepreneurship program is structured to develop both practical entrepreneurial skills and a strong foundation in business knowledge across three years. In Year 1, students build essential business and entrepreneurship capabilities through modules in financial decision making, preparing for professional practice, business, economy and society, introduction to marketing, and introduction to entrepreneurship, alongside student enterprise activities focused on building a venture team, with academic language support provided for international and EU students. Year 2 deepens these skills with core modules in creativity and innovation, entrepreneurial management, entrepreneurship theory, business research and analysis, and student enterprise development, while optional modules such as born global enterprise, international digital economy, and recognising entrepreneurial opportunities allow students to explore international business contexts and emerging markets. In Year 3, students focus on advanced and applied entrepreneurship topics, including contemporary issues in entrepreneurship, student enterprise leadership, and optional modules in digital entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ecosystems and policy, family business studies, business ethics for international management, management enquiry, dissertation, and undergraduate consultancy projects. Across all years, the program emphasizes practical learning, collaboration, and real-world enterprise development, preparing students to launch their own businesses, contribute to start-ups, or pursue entrepreneurial roles within established organisations. By integrating academic study with hands-on experience, the course equips graduates to succeed in dynamic and competitive business environments.
