COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics is structured over three semesters to provide a comprehensive and practical understanding of AI and data analytics. In the first semester, students build foundational knowledge through courses in Programming for Data Applications, Fundamentals of Computation, Data, and Algorithms, and Theory and Applications of Data Analytics, alongside AI & Data Ethics, which explores the societal and ethical implications of AI technologies. These modules establish both technical competence and a critical understanding of responsible AI practice. The second semester focuses on advanced technical skills and project management, with courses in Machine Learning and Advanced Data Engineering, which cover the design, development, and deployment of scalable data solutions, alongside Project Management and Communication to develop the leadership and stakeholder engagement skills needed to manage AI and data analytics projects successfully. The final semester is dedicated to the Artificial Intelligence Dissertation Project, a substantial independent research and development project that integrates learning across the program and allows students to apply AI and data analytics methodologies to real-world challenges. Throughout the degree, students develop expertise in programming, machine learning, and data engineering, while enhancing problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. This combination equips graduates for careers as AI and data specialists across industries, with the ability to deliver impactful and ethical technological solutions.
